New York Trip & BMI

In late August we did our NYC trip, where we had a great time as always - love New York - and while there did radio and press interviews, checked in on our “Alice In Wonderland” dance club adventures, saw “Jersey Boys” and visited with the folks at BMI(Check out the photo). Here's the caption from our feature in BMI's magazine publication: BMI has awarded songwriter Denny Randell multiple “million air” awards for three of his classic hit songs. The Million Air program honors those songs in the BMI catalogue which have been played at least one million times on U.S. radio.  Randell received the awards on 8/24/06 for airplay totaling an astounding 12 million “airs” with “Workin My Way Back To You” at 5 million, “A Lover’s Concerto”- 4 million and “Let’s Hang On”- 3 million. Now at 5.8 million plays, “Workin My Way Back To You” will soon reach 6 Million - an all-time benchmark reached by only 4 other songs in the world. Back in So Cal with good vibes and weather and travels back and forth between L.A. and the desert moon, show rehearsals, music production and web activities continue in gear. Halloween’s in the RV mirror and Thanksgiving’s in the wings. And our Alice is in the wings as well, very excited to be making her very first on-screen appearance in our new video, just beginning production.
