R & S Visit The BB Summit While In Las Vegas Planning Their Show
Welcomed by The “Blue Men”
Songwriter/ Producer team Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers (the pair who comprise the hot recording artist duo Randell & Schippers) arrived in Las Vegas in mid September for a one month stay. Their schedule on the trip included organizing the production and rehearsal plans for their live show, DJ and media get-togethers, and attending several days of the annual Billboard Dance Summit. They also held planning and creative meetings with the Summit’s DJ headliner Dan Mathews who along with brother Sam Michaels make up the red hot remix team the “Klubjumpers”. As Biddy Schippers explained, “The Klubjumpers, who Denny and I consider the most amazing remixers out there today, just completed a fantastic remix on our current dance and video hit “Alice In Wonderland”. And it was great for us to get a chance to hang out with Dan for a few days and plan our next moves with “Alice” and the new projects we’ll be doing with the Klubjumpers”. R & S were also special guests at the smash hit Vegas Blue Man Group show where they were welcomed by the “Blue” people and fan and friend Bill Melton, production company executive for the show. The pair are also currently shopping for a house in Vegas and are planning to split their time between there and their Palm Springs home. With work on their live show and new recordings about to begin, and writing, producing and running their company DRC Entertainment, They will be traveling between Vegas, Palm Springs and L.A. where they’re also involved in a number of projects. “How was the trip? “, says Denny Randell, “It was very busy and very positive, and we even had a few minutes to hit the casinos at Caesar’s
and The Flamingo and to hang out in the sports book during the wrap-up of the MLB season and for a few great weekends of football”. *****
