SOUL TEMPO RE-SIGNS WITH
MUSIC AVENUE RECORDS
Randell & Schippers’ DRC Entertainment has announced that the classic Urban/Pop vocal group Soul Tempo has re-signed and will continue to exclusively appear on DRC’s Music Avenue Records. Comprised of Jerry Brunson, Tony Burnett, and brothers Kevin and Phillip Mitchell, Soul Tempo has had many successes. From an on-camera roll in the movie “The Preachers Wife”, to performances at top venues world wide, the four boyhood friends from Southern Connecticut have come along way. They’ve performed at such hallowed venues as “The Apollo Theatre”, “Lincoln Center” and “Radio City Music Hall.” They had several hits during their first stint with Music Avenue Records, including the ABC Radio National “Touch Format” chart hit “I Can’t Wait”, the heavily played R & B format charmer “You’ll Never Be Alone” and their recent “D J Times” nationally charted dance hit “Swearin To God (a remake of Frankie Valli’s top 5 radio and dance hit.)

Denny Randell and Biddy Schippers: “We’re very excited that Soul Tempo has resigned with us and remains in our Music Avenue Records and DRC Entertainment family. And it’s particularly great that we’re starting this next chapter of our relationship with a new single by the red-hot “Klubjumpers,” that also features Jerry, Tony, Kevin and Phillip; our fabulous vocal group known to all as Soul Tempo.”

This new CD4 single, “All The King’s Horses” (Anthem Mix) was introduced several weeks ago to U.S. record pool directors, and at the ’08 Miami Winter Conference. In addition to a highly positive opening response, the single is already receiving airplay at Sirius Satellite Radio and on top Internet stations.
